Every year I make seafood for New Year's Eve, but not everyone wants it and sometimes we want more variety so I decided we'll have 3 seafood appetizers and something else for the main course. This first appetizer I tested tonight was a scallop dish, white wine sauce, mushrooms, shallots, breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. It was a hit! I found the little scallop dishes for $1 each at Pier 1 Imports. Gotta love that store!
