I love No Knead bread and have tried many variations ever since picking up the technique. Some of our family favorites include cinnamon raisin walnut, chocolate cherry and a no knead sourdough. Lately when I'm whipping up a loaf to take to a cooking class or a friend's house I've been proofing my bread in a banneton or brotform. These coiled basket/bowls help give the bread a pretty marking and just make me feel even more like an artisan bread baker. If you've been wanting to try a brotform there are many places to shop for them, but I ordered mine from Fantes.com and I really love all the other kitchen gadgets on their site. A real treasure trove can be found on their simple, yet comprehensive site. Another good idea is to buy some rice flour to use in lieu of regular flour for coating the brotform (so the dough doesn't stick). It will make the impressions still stand out, but won't cake it on like regular flour is apt to do.
Here's a loaf rising in my brotform.
